Pista Shell Switch board art

The next time you eat pista do not throw the shells.I repeat do not throw.You can do many simple art with those shells and give a new colourful look to your home.

One such art which I tried is switch board art. Its very easy and also looks cute.As you may have noticed around you , trees dont have a definite shape or structure and so anybody can draw the tree.That is the beauty of nature. 

First of all after eating wash the shells and let it dry. Then select shells which are flat so that it can easily stick on the wall.Paint the shells with your favourite colours and let it dry.

If you are not comfortable painting then start off by drawing a rough sketch of the tree with a pencil.You can always erase it if you aren't happy with it and then use a thin brush to paint it.I used water colours to paint the tree and the beaks of the birds. Stick the pista shells in such a way that it looks like birds sitting on the branches.You can use glue to stick it.
